When I was growing up, there were two types of girls in the world, ones that were all into playing with Barbie and ones that really weren't. (I suspect the same is true today.) Well, I was one of the latter. Lets face it, they just weren't as cool or as fun as the "boys' toys". But there was only one kind of boy in the world, that never dared to play with Barbies...or at least I thought until I saw "America's Funniest Home Videos" last week. It was a precious moment when Dad went down the hall with the video camera, and secretly peeked into the kid's room to find three adorable boys and two sweet girls, all giggling and playing make-believe while dressing Barbies. The fun quickly came to an abrupt stop when the boys realized that they were being videotaped. One boy stood up and screamed and dropped Barbie to the ground. The other two ran screaming from the room, "I don't want anyone to see me playing with Barbies!!!" This story has no point, but I would just like to say that I believe that it is the secret wish of every boy and every man to play with Barbies.
